About Us
Who We Are
We are a simple pair of computer geeks with a love of the written word and imaginations that demand escape from our heads.
We like all kinds of music but prefer alternative, hard rock, Gothic, industrial... and even blue-grass or gospel on Sunday mornings.
In his spare time, Maurice is an avid cyclist and skier while Ande prefers more stationary pursuits like gardening and cooking.
Maurice--
I started writing when I was 7 or 8 years old. I received a "Mighty Men & Monster Maker" kit which gave you the ability to mix and match plates with heads, legs and torsos to create crayon rubbings. These inspired me to write horror stories on single sheets of 3-hole punch paper. My wonderful cousin, who was in college at the time, actually took the time to read and critique them for me. She became my muse. By age 10, I wrote my first 14 page science fiction "novella" -- it seemed like a lot at the time.
